A nostalgic yet modern platter featuring a triple-layer classic club sandwich with turkey, bacon, and crisp veggies, paired with sweet and spicy hot honey chicken wings.

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Classic Club Sandwich:

  • 12 slices of sandwich bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)

  • 1 lb cooked turkey breast, thinly sliced

  • 12 slices crispy bacon

  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced

  • Romaine lettuce leaves

  • Mayonnaise (or avocado mayo)

  • Optional: Swiss or cheddar cheese

For the Hot Honey Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 2 tbsp hot sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Toast Bread: Lightly toast all slices of bread.

  2. Assemble Sandwich:

    • Spread mayo on each slice.

    • Layer 1: Bread, turkey, tomato, lettuce, another mayo-side-down slice.

    • Layer 2: Add bacon, cheese (if using), more lettuce, then top with third slice.

    • Secure with toothpicks and cut into triangles.

  3. Prepare Wings:

    • Season wings with salt, garlic powder, and paprika.

    • Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes until crispy.

  4. Hot Honey Glaze:

    • Melt butter in saucepan, add honey and hot sauce, simmer until thickened.

    • Toss baked wings in glaze before serving.

Notes

  • Let sandwiches rest before cutting to keep them from falling apart.

  • Add avocado, sprouts, or fried egg for variation.

  • Wings can be baked ahead and glazed just before serving.
